Information for whistle-blowers
The OBO Group commits itself to conduct its business in accordance with the highest ethical and legal standards. Every violation to the OBO Code of Conduct is therefore treated with the utmost seriousness.
The OBO whistle-blower system is intended to support employees, managers, business partners, customers and suppliers, etc. of the OBO Group and anyone potentially affected (all natural persons) in recognising possible misconduct within the OBO Group, reporting and addressing it, while providing a secure channel for reports without the fear of reprisals with the objective of strengthening the compliance and information culture within the OBO Group.
Illegal, immoral or unlawful conduct or conduct that violates the OBO Code of Conduct and that the concerned employee or person is unable to stop without help shall be reported to a contact person designated by the OBO Group. However, the whistle-blower system is not intended for general complaints about other employees or to generally denounce them.
The whistle-blower system is designed to receive and handle reports as well as to protect whistle-blowers and the people supporting them from reprisals due to reports. However, the whistle-blower system is not intended for general complaints or enquiries. In this case, please contact our Customer Service department:

For Germany, complaints according to the German Supply Chain Law (LKSG) should be submitted to the following e-mail address: supplychain.complaints@obo.de.
Reports should only be submitted if the whistle-blower assumes in good faith that the facts they are sharing are true. The whistle-blower is not acting in good faith if they are aware that a fact they have reported is untrue. In case of doubt, the matter shall not be presented as a fact, but rather as a suspicion, assessment or allegation of other persons. Reports in good faith shall not result in reprisals.

Reports on violations do not require any particular form or language. Information regarding violations can be submitted by the whistle-blower in the native language of the country they are from; the responsible party will ensure translation and communication in the native language of the whistle-blower. In particular, reports can be submitted in person, by telephone, in written or text form (e.g. by letter or e-mail). We recommend submitting reports by e-mail to facilitate the procedure. To ensure confidential handling of mail-in reports, we ask you to add “CONFIDENTIAL – OBO reports” to the address. The respective national legislation may include special requirements for reports, compliance with which can extend beyond the conditions of these guidelines. Reports can also be made anonymously.
The OBO Group meets its obligations from the applicable data protection laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and national implementation law, and treats all information regarding violations, regardless of the degree of truth, with the utmost confidentiality and in accordance with the applicable legal data protection regulations.
