Fair business relations
The OBO Supplier Code of Conduct is our foundation for good cooperation
All new and existing suppliers are required to recognise the OBO Supplier Code of Conduct and to reinforce the values and principles contained within it in their company and their own supply chain. The OBO Supplier Code of Conduct is based on existing principles and conventions, such as the UN Global Compact, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, as the relevant conventions of the International Labour Organization.
The Supplier Code of Conduct explicitly addresses topics such as human rights, labour standards, occupational health and safety, environmental protection, responsible sourcing of raw materials, business ethics and compliance. In particular, we expect our business partners to reject any form of slavery, forced labour or child labour. They are also expected to respect freedom of association and the right to form interest groups, and that they ensure fair and appropriate remuneration and support the qualification of their employees. Another important aspect is the commitment of our employees to recognise and practice the above-mentioned values and principles. After all, we can only address sustainability and compliance together.

The project aligns with the following Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations

More OBO projects – economic sustainability

Economic sustainability
OBO unites sustainable business with the considered use of resources and a fair supply chain.

Digitalisation made by OBO
With smart products, methods and partners, we are advancing digitalisation in companies so that everyone benefits.

Responsibility across the supply chain
As a globally active company, our supply chains are becoming increasingly complex. We place great value on due diligence in human rights and fair business relations.

Short delivery routes
For the sake of the environment we are reducing supply traffic. This is made possible by our high proportion of in-house production and our well-stocked warehouses.

Tracking and monitoring
At OBO, we always strive to identify potential savings so that we can conserve resources wherever possible.

Shaping a sustainable future together
At OBO, we are convinced that we can only shape a more sustainable future if we work together.
