Ecological sustainability

Quality, customer satisfaction and efficiency are some of the key factors through which OBO has stood out from the competition for over 110 years. DIN EN ISO 9001 specifies the minimum requirements, in order to fulfil customer requirements as well as additional requirements for our product and service quality. OBO has been certified to ISO 9001 since 1995. Since that time, we have continually developed the quality of our processes, which we are able to prove in regular inspection audits.

In a business sense, we take a long-term approach where we also think about tomorrow. Both for us as a company and for the environment and society. This means that we act in a manner that takes care of resources and is environmentally aware, for example by reducing pollutants and waste and saving energy and water.

OBO is considerate – in relation to the natural world and its resources. At our different international locations, we use energy from renewable sources, increase the recycled material component in our production and employ countless smaller measures in different areas of the corporate group. Small measures which can make a great difference to our environment – for example, the use of biodegradable cleaning agents.

OBO is fully aware of its responsibilities to the environment and to society. We wish to nurture this consciousness at all levels – with our employees, our customers and our partners. This is why we make all our employees aware of the relevant environmental and social topics and make them a fixed part of internal and external procedures.
