Earthing systems in computer centres – it’s all about the base
Safe from the ground up – creating earthing in data centres with OBO
Safety in the computer centre starts with the earthing system, as it forms the basis for the safe functioning of the electrical systems. Amongst other things, earth rods, conductors and connectors are used, ensuring a reliable function. A particular feature of earthing systems in data centres, but also in other areas, is that corrections at a later date are very complex or even impossible. For this reason, everything must be right from the very start. This is a challenge that’s tailor-made for OBO. We can also provide additional safety in data centres with the following earthing systems.
- Stainless steel flat conductors: With these, we fulfil the foundation earth electrode standard DIN 18014, which requires the use of V4A stainless steel in the earth
- Cross-connector for stainless steel round and flat conductors – also made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- Earthing clamps for reinforced steels with diameter 8–14 mm
- Corrosion protection bandages to wrap above- and below-ground connections
